Welcome to our Year 4 page!
In our class, we have two class teachers. Mrs Hunt teaches at the beginning of the week and Mrs Goulden teaches at the end. We are supported every day by our Teaching Assistant Mrs Makin.
We have an annual residential trip to Foxhowl in Delamere Forest for two nights. This is usually in the Autumn Term and gives us the opportunity to take part in lots of fun activities including orienteering, den building and stream dipping. Muddy walks in the forest with our friends are always a favourite activity when we are there.
In school, we learn about Ancient Greece and the Romans. Both are popular topics and we have a day trip to Chester, the highlight being when we march around the city as Roman soldiers!
Our Science work about animals is really interesting and links well with our Art in which we study the work of Steven Brown and Kandinsky.
We like to be creative in Year 4 and particularly enjoy the opportunity to perform. Watch this space!
Further work and links can be found in your child's Google Classroom
