A big thank you to our visitors for sharing tales from a long time ago. We got to hear about having to share bath water in front of the fire and the toilet being down at the bottom of the garden. The children couldn’t believe that televisions only had one channel and there were no remote controls in the past.
These two children have been learning at home.
One young man made a robot with his Nanna and our other young man found a nest at his Grandma’s house and brought it in to share with the class.
Our Reception children enjoyed their session with Alicia from Creative Steps today. We watched a video of Autumn leaves falling and then moved like leaves falling. We did some lovely mirror work and then used scarves to enhance our dancing.
This young lady brought in her medal and certificate to share with her friends.
We really enjoyed our first forest school session. We played games of hide and seek, made dens for our animal friends and had biscuits with hot chocolate for our snack.
We were all very proud of our children today as they took part in their first assembly. The children spoke clearly and were not overwhelmed by such a large audience.
Rain did not stop play today. We huddled together to keep warm and had a great time rolling our eggs. Well done to our three winners and thank you to the parents who provided spare eggs to ensure everyone could take part.
Wishing you all a lovely Easter 🐣
We had special visitors in class this morning to talk to us about staying safe, the children all listened very carefully and our PCSOs were very impressed with our answers. We even got to try on some special uniform.
